__Tapering__

TAPERING the is a noun which refer to the period around one week before the Run. During Tapering , runners should cut down their training intensity and rest their body mechanism to make sure they are at their optimum condition for the Run on the Run day .

Meanwhile , Runners have to consume more carbohydrate food like potato, rice, noodle , fruit in order to store more glycogen in their body, the quantity of carbo food to be consumed during the tapering is based on some calculation referring to our weight . Glycogen is the main source of power in our body , the storage will transform into energy form and help us a lot during a long exhausting race like Half Marathon (21km) and Full Marathon (42.195km). The process of storing glycogen is called CARBOHYDRATE LOADING.

Except that , runners should also consume more water to prevent dehydrated in the Run
